What’s & Why use CF?
CF表示Carrier-free, 代表蛋白产品不含携带物。
一般携带物是BSA(牛血清白蛋白),加入携带物是为了增强蛋白产品的稳定性,从而延长了产品的保存期限,加入比例为1μg的蛋白中加50μg的BSA。此外,含有携带物的产品,其重悬时,在不影响蛋白稳定性的前提下,可以得到更大的体积,更低的浓度,例如,含有携带物的产品,其浓度最低可以到10μg/ml,而CF(不含携带物)的产品,其浓度最低为100μg/ml。
但是,在有些实验中,如体内注射免疫生产抗体、自行标记蛋白或者包被多孔板等,携带物等额外蛋白的存在就会干扰实验。此时,只能使用CF(不含携带物)的产品。
大多数R&D Systems蛋白产品都含/不含携带物两种产品形式可供选择。产品货号中含有“/CF”后缀的产品都是不含携带物的产品。
总的来说,含有携带物的产品,稳定性更佳,而CF(不含携带物)的产品应用范围更广泛,实验中大家可以根据具体实验要求,选择最适合实验需要的产品。
